The Communist parliamentary group abstained from voting on the draft state budget law for 2010 in the third reading as well. After long debates on the bill, the Communists left the assembly hall, dissatisfied that none of the amendments proposed by them were taken into account, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist MP Iurie Muntean said that during the previous debates Prime Minister Vlad Filat promised that two villages in Causeni district will benefit from capital investments to build an aqueduct on condition that they are withdrawn from the state budget law for 2009. “We withdrew them and presented them in 2010, as Mister Filat promised, but the two villages were later excluded at his request. This is the Alliance for European Integration's attitude to the Moldovans who voted for the PCRM in the July elections,” Muntean said. Asked if the Communists' proposals were examined, Iurie Muntean said: “None of our proposals was taken account of. The Alliance is now building a state that ignores the interests of at least 715,000 people. What is this? Oligarchy. Who builds it? Evidently, the AEI”. The draft state budget law for 2010 passed three readings. The state budget provides for revenues of 15.19 billion lei and a total expenditure of 19.32 billion lei.
