Starting this morning, June 24, Pan Halipa Street of Centru district closed for circulation. According to Chisinau Road Police, iy will be opened on June 26, at 5.30 o’clock. Reffering to the information of JSC “Exdrupo”, the quoted source states that during these days roadway’s repair works will be performed and the power network on the roadway between the Ministry of Health and Alexei Mateevici Street will be changed. Previously the municipal services announced abot closing this street for 3 months – starting June 1 to Spetember , for capital repairs. The interim head of the Capital Constructions Department, Tudor Gnaciuc communicated for Info-Prim Neo that during these 3 months, the roadway will be enlarged by constructing 6 lane circulating tracks – three towards Telecentru district and three towards Centru district. In Chisinau’s development plan, for the reconstruction of Pan Halipa Street 27 million lei are included, although the eesimated cost amounts to 50 million lei, added Gnaciuc, specifying that the reconstruction works of the roadway between the Ministry of Health and Alexei Mateevici Street will be finished at the end of august, 2006. The Road Police attentions the drivers that during these 2 days the circulation will be possible on both ways on Hancesti roadway where on Saturday traffic jams were registered. In order to avoid them the Road Police recommends finding other circulating ways towards Centru district.
