StarNet launches YouTube TV service

The world's largest video content database – YouTube – is now available on the television screens for all the IPTV users, StarNet said in a press release announcing the launch of the service. The company said the new service, which is part of its broader StarNet Television facility, is in line with its strategy to further revolutionize the multimedia market in Moldova. With the launch of this novelty service, IPTV customers will be able to easily browse the YouTube directly from their TV menu and watch high-definition videos. Additionally YouTube account holders will be able to synchronize them with the TV menu. “StarNet Television offers unlimited possibilities. With the introduction of the Youtube TV service, we bring to the homes of our customers billions of videos available on the YouTube. This gives to our IPTV users access to the largest variety of media products”, StarNet IT manager Veaceslav Puscasu said. The introduction of the YouTube TV service follows the launch of a television programming service called TV Constructor, which enables customers to build their own grid of channels. StarNet invites suggestions and recommendations from its customers, which can be debated on its Facebook page.
