The main stage in the Great National Assembly Square on October 14, when the Patron Saint Day of Chisinau is observed, will host the largest orchestras of the city, led by illustrious conductors. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the Orchestra of the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet House, the Advahov Brothers Orchestra, the “Fluieraș” Orchestra, the Chisinau Camerata, the Chisinau Jazz Orchestra and the Dorel Burlacu Band will perform, IPN reports.
Also, the public can enjoy performances by artists loved by all generations. Olga Ciolacu, Nina Crulicovschi, Zinaida Julea, Nicolae Glib, Mihai Ciobanu, Natalia Barbu, Satoshi, Magnat and Feoctist, the band Zdob si Zdub and many others will take the stage. Singer Laima Vaikule from Latvia is the guest of the evening.
The holiday program began with the holding of the Patron Saint Liturgy, followed by fairs and thematic exhibitions. Diverse activities for the whole family will be staged.
