Stable Government is needed for continuing commenced projects, opinion

Sociologist Ian Lisnevski said the snap elections will stop any financing from the foreign partners. A stable Government is needed for continuing the initiated projects. “In such conditions, any dangerous and difficult situation can be resolved,” the sociologist was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Issue of the day” on Canal2 TV channel.

According to Ian Lisnevski, the parliamentary elections were held in single-member constituencies and the MPs elected in these constituencies bear responsibility towards the people from these regions. “The Socialists and the Bloc ACUM should think what is more important – the values of the people who voted for them or the vainglory of their leaders and holding of state posts,” he noted.

He opined the disappointment in a pro-European party leads to the disappointment in the course. A broad coalition between the MPs who want the country to develop and who plead for keeping the country’s pro-European course is now opportune.

Journalist Ștefan Secăreanu said the long discussions between Igor Dodon and the Bloc ACUM created the current political impasse. Igor Dodon is Russia’s representative in Moldova and it is regrettable that the President plays an essential role in the current circumstances. “I think namely Dodon should be excluded from this game and should do his best to find a solution to the negotiations between the PSRM and ACUM so that this very important majority for the Republic of Moldova is formed and snap elections are avoided,” he stated.

According to the journalist, responsible politicians can do their best to avoid snap elections as these are the worst variant for Moldova and the country will be isolated if these are held.
