The City Hall of Arad, Romania, will allocate a grant of 100 thousand euros to the City Hall of Chișinău municipality. The money will be invested in the renovation of the square on Kiev street, 1. Chișinău Municipal Council approved the financing on Wednesday, November 20.

According to the draft decision, the General Mayor of Chișinău municipality, Ion Ceban and the praetor of the Râșcani district, Vlad Melnic, were invested to sign the grant agreement.

The municipal authorities will cover 5% of the project's value, namely the design and expertise expenses. The project's deadline is six months from the moment the renovation works are launched.
