The spring session of the Performance Center of the Moldovan Chess Federation started on April 30. This will take place at the Chess Club in Chisinau under the guidance of the coach of the national youth team Ruslan Soltanici, international chess master, FIDE coach and chess champion of Moldova, IPN reports.
The following players were admitted free to the spring session based on the results achieved in the first three months of 2018: international master Nikita Morozov, a member of the national team, European vice champion, chess champion of Moldova (Chisinau); Andrei Macovei, FIDE master, a member of the national team, world student champion, U18 champion of Moldova (Chisinau), and Ilie Martynovich, FIDE master, a member of the national team, European student champion, U16 champion of Moldova (Rezina).
Among those admitted are also: Ivan Skitsko, FIDE master, a member of the national team, awardee of the World Chess Championships, champion of Moldova (Chisinau); Paula-Alexandra Gatu, FIDE master, a member of the national team, champion of Moldova (Balti); Valentina Verbin, a member of the national team, U16 champion of Moldova (Chisinau); Egor Lashkin, a member of the national youth team (Tiraspol), and Dragos Ceres, a member of the national team, U14 champion of Moldova (Chisinau).
