The 2020 ordinary spring session of Parliament begins on February 3. An order to this effect was signed by Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grechanyi, IPN reports.

According to the legislature’s press service, the date of the first plenary sitting of Parliament will be set by the Standing Bureau after drafting the agenda.

The last sitting of the autumn session of 2019 was held on December 20.

The legislature annually has two ordinary sessions. The spring session starts in February and ends in July, while the autumn session lasts from September to December inclusive.
