Parliament starts its ordinary spring session on February 1. The order to convoke the legislature was signed by Speaker Andrian Candu on January 25, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament’s press service, the date of the first plenary sitting will be set at the suggestion of the Standing Bureau, after the agenda is drafted. The parliamentary commissions will come together to discuss the pending bills.

The Parliament’s Regulations provide that the spring session begins in February and closes at the end of July at the latest.
