The spring school vacation scheduled for March 5-8 was extended until March 15, 2021. A decision to this effect was taken by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in a move to prevent the spread of COVID-19, IPN reports.

The Ministry said the classes that could not be held will be taught with the physical presence of students according to an individual timetable agreed by the administration of each education institution.

The Ministry requests the managers of public and private education institutions to think up a special working regime during the spring vacation of March 5-15. The persons whose presence is not mandatory in education institutions should be allowed to work remotely.
