100 workers are engaged in cleaning the bed of the Byc river as the municipality is unfolding the traditional spring cleaning campaign, Info-Prim Neo reports. Last week, 7 hectares of land were cleaned, more than 2,200 trees were trimmed, and 6 unauthorized waste dumps were removed along the river, Green Spaces Association head Eliferie Haruta informed the City Hall's ordinary meeting on Monday. According to him, the cleaning works will be finished in 2 weeks, if the weather allows it. The head of the housing and public amenities department, Petru Gontea, also informed the City Hall that his workers are cleaning the areas near the residential buildings and educational establishments.
