Sports furniture will appear in the parks of the capital city as from July. The General Public Amenities Division has announced a tender contest to choose the contractor.

Vasile Efros, head of the Division’s Territorial Development and Environment Unit, has told IPN that the sports furniture will be installed in parks in all the districts of the municipality of Chisinau. There will be set up tennis tables, chess tables and arm-wrestling tables.

Bids to the tender contest can be submitted until May 23 inclusive.

A sum of over 1.54 million lei was earmarked in the 2022 municipal budget for installing sports furniture.
