The national football team of Moldova defeated away San Marino 1-0 in the last but one match of the UEFA Nations League, IPN reports.

The only goal was scored by Vitalie Damașcan in the 78th minute. Moldova manager Alexandru Spiridon used the following players: Koshelev, Ryabchuk, Carp, Posmac, Epureanu, Ioniță, Gațcan, Gînsari, Antoniuc (Dedov 66th min.), Cociuc (Sandu 60th), Nicolaescu (Damașcan 46th).

In the other math of the group, Belarus won against Luxemburg 2-0 and practically secured the first place in the rankings. Belarus has 11 points, Luxemburg – 9, Moldova – 8. On November 18, Belarus plays San Marino away, while Moldova meets Luxemburg at home.
