Spiru Haret team victorious at “Museum – Temple of Muses” contest
The team “Brigantina” from Spiru Haret high school won the children’s contest “Museum – Temple of Muses” organized by the National Museum of Arts as part of the International Museum Day and the Night of the Museums, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We try once again to bring the younger public closer to the museum and offer them the possibility of seeing what a museum or work of art is. The students can share their knowledge through the agency of the contest. The International Museum Day is also a summing-up event that helps us see the week and strong points,” said Natalia Lozinschi, spokeswoman for the museum.
Five teams took part in the contest that consisted of three tests. Every test included questions from different areas: history of the museum, museums of the world, collections of the museum, arts under the microscope, recognition of the work and national art, etc. In the final round, the participants had to reconstruct the gallery of the National Museum of Arts.
The team “Amadeus” from Gheorghe Asachi high school ranked second.
