The women’s team of the Speranţa Sports Club has won the Basketball Cup of Moldova. In the final, the team trained by Olga Tîrzîman beat ASEM 76-55, IPN reports.
Olga Tîrzîman and Margarita Şolopa scored most of the points for Speranța - 62 of the total 76.
This is the first trophy won by the women’s team of the Speranţa Sports Club among seniors. In the semifinals, Speranța defeated UTM 64-55.
