According to the inspector of the Traffic Safety, Administrative Supervision and PR Service of Chisinau Road Police, Ion Roscovanu, the Russian-made radars “Iscra-video” detect speed at a distance of 300 meters and more. On Wednesday, those 6 radars will be installed on Dacia, Decebal, Calea Orheiului, Calea Mosilor, and Soseaua Hancesti boulevards. Police recommends the speeders to avoid accelerating not only on these streets, but in other places as well, where an equipped car might patrol.
