Special Telecommunications Center will contribute to implementation of e-Government Strategy

The state-run Special Telecommunications Center will be transferred from the Security and Information Service to the State Chancellery within a month, Info-Prim Neo reports. The informative note accompanying the relevant Government Decision says such a measure is necessary in order to implement the e-Government Strategy and optimize the use of the special telecommunications and information systems by the public authorities. The creation of a governmental authority that will ensure the functionality and security of the special telecommunications systems will be a first step towards strengthening the institutional capacities in the given area. The Special Telecommunications Center has the human and logistic resources needed to achieve this objective. The State Chancellery will validate the necessary documents and found and register the given state-run institution.
