Special consultations of the participants of the Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiation Process for the Transnistrian Settlement in the “5+2” format took place in the premises of the Austrian Foreign Ministry in Vienna on April 21, IPN reports.

According to the Reintegration Office, during the discussions the participants reaffirmed their commitment to the fundamental documents of the Permanent Conference, analyzed the agreements reached during the negotiations and discussed the mechanisms and guaranties of their implementation. A series of issues regarding further work of the Permanent Conference were also addressed.

The official negotiations in the “5+2” format haven’t been yet announced.
