Special commission to investigate death of newborn from Larga Noua
The Ministry of Health of Moldova gathered information about the death of the newborn baby from Larga Noua village of Cahul district and will create a special commission to investigate this case. The Stoev family lost their first child when he was 11 days. The parents accuse the doctors of negligence, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a communiqué, the Ministry of Health informs that as founder of the Cahul district hospital, it will recommend the Cahul District Council to launch an independent inquiry into this case.
The results of autopsy showed that the baby suffered from a congenital heart defect, but the parents said the medical analyses and ecographical examinations didn’t reveal health problems.
The parents stated the child felt sick eight days after the discharge from the hospital and they called an ambulance. But the doctors could not save the baby.
