The Parliament created a special commission that will organize the vote to elect the head of state. It includes three Communist MPs and by one MP on behalf of the other four parliamentary groups, Info-Prim Neo reports. The members include Igor Vitiuc, Iurie Muntean and Vasili Sova (PCRM), Vitalie Nagacevschi (PLDM), Valeriu Nemerenco (PL), Viorel Baiesu (PDM) and Ion Plesca (AMN). The commission will examine the proposed candidates and determine if they meet the requirements. It will also decide on the format and text of the ballot, will run the voting process and will count the votes. The President of Moldova is to be elected on October 23.
