Journalist Sorina Ștefârță was appointed adviser to the President of the Republic of Moldova on public communication, being also the spokeswoman. A decree to this effect was signed by President Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
According to mediaforum.md, Sorina Ștefârță is a journalist and communicator with rich experience. She studied journalism at the State University of Moldova and at the National School of Political Sciences and Public Administration of Bucharest. Between 2001 and 2012, she worked as the editor-in-chief of the daily “Timpul”.
Earlier, she worked at the daily “Flux”. For a period, she managed the School of Advanced Journalism Studies. She also offered consultancy for the EU Delegation to Moldova.
