Soldier who killed colleague gets nine years in jail

The Military Court sentenced a conscript soldier of the Chisinau military unit 1001, who killed a colleague of his, to nine years behind bars, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Prosecutor General's Office.
The incident happened in the barracks of Battalion 3 of the military unit 1001 on November 8 last year at about 23.00. The convict got angry when he saw the victim sleeping in his bed. He tried to wake him up, but did not manage to. So, he hit him with the edge of his hand in the region of the neck. The victim died on the spot.
