The participants in transfrontier traffic at a number of border crossing points will receive brochures about corruption and will be informed about the risks to which they expose themselves by giving bribe as part of an information and awareness-raising campaign organized by employees of the Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service of the Ministry of the Interior and is supported by the Border Police, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Border Police said the travelers in the course of this week will also be urged to report acts of corruption on the specialized anticorruption hotline 1520.
By resolution 58/4 of October 31, 2003, the UN General Assembly designated December 9 as International Anticorruption Day as a way of raising awareness of corruption.
