The Socialist councilors on the Chisinau Municipal Council drafted a decision on the allocation of salary bonuses to kindergarten cooks, cook assistants and educator assistants in Chisinau. Councilor Eugenia Ceban told a news conference on September 11 that the draft decision envisions the provision of a bonus of 50% of the salary, IPN reports.

The Socialists intend to present the draft decision at the September 12 meeting of the Municipal Council. Eugenia Ceban said a sum of 3 million lei is needed for the purpose and the money can be taken from the reserve budget.

“We will submit this draft decision also to the Ministry of Finance and the Government. We will propose that nutritionists should be hired in kindergartens so that these make sure that the menu satisfies all needs,” stated Eugenia Ceban.

According to the Socialists, in the municipality of Chisinau 12 kindergartens do not work because they do not have cooks.
