The Party of Socialists at the end of this week will start a series of pre-electoral protests. These will be mounted in each electoral constituency under the aegis of the territorial organizations of the PSRM. The announcement was made by the president of the Party of Socialists Zinaida Grechenyi in the talk show “Direct access” on NTV Moldova channel, IPN reports.

The Socialist leader said the protests in different localities in the country will be staged until the end of October and zonal events will be held afterward. “In November we will probably mount a large protest in central Chisinau to which we will invite all the supporters and members of the party and we will present the candidates and the party list there,” said the Socialist leader.

Zinaida Grecheanyi noted a kind of opinion polls similar to primaries will be carried out within these protests to see who of the candidates will be supported. “Surely we will suggest candidates and will see how the people will support them,” she stated.
