The 35 incoming Socialist MPs today held their parliamentary group’s inaugural meeting and elected its leadership. The party’s president Zinaida Greceanîi will be the group’s chairperson, assisted by Corneliu Furculiță as deputy chair and Vasile Bolea as secretary.

The party said in a press release that the MPs elected in the February 24 elections have received their MP service cards.

The Socialist MPs are ready for the first meeting of the incoming Parliament, the tenth legislature of Moldova, the press release says.
