The social security of the Moldovans working in Italy will be discussed at Moldovan-Italian consular consultations that will take place in Chisinau on May 19. The draft intergovernmental agreement on social security that will be discussed in Chisinau is aimed at ensuring a system of guarantees for the Moldovan migrants, including removing the negative consequences that affect them when they return, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry. The discussions on the draft agreement form part of the plan of action for implementing the government foreign policy program on the protection of the rights and interests of the Moldovans abroad. A local office of the Christian Association of Italian Workers was opened in Chisinau this January.
