Social Protection Ministry launches 2022 Active Aging Program

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has launched the Active Aging Small Grants Program, the 2022 edition, which is dedicated to supporting and promoting active aging in the Republic of Moldova.

The competition is open to non-profit organizations that implement projects and initiatives with an impact on the promotion of active aging policy at national and regional level. Organizations with co-financing, partnership agreements with various local and international institutions or donors, and that can prove their own contribution of at least 10% of the total project value are encouraged to submit their proposals.

Projects submitted for funding will have a maximum implementation duration of 7 months, according to the regulations of the Grants Program. Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2022, 16:00, at the Chancellery of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

All projects meeting the criteria for applying for funding will be evaluated by a commission, and after obtaining a positive opinion, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will conclude a financing contract with the applicant.
