Social Insurance, Statistics reports may be submitted online from Jan.1
Effective from 1 January 2012, businesses will be able to submit annual and quarterly reports to the National Social Insurance Corporation and the National Bureau of Statistics online by using a special service available at www.raportare.md, which was was devised with the assistance of the USAID/BIZTAR Project, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We hope this easy-to-use service will save business people a lot of time which they can then use to concentrate more on their business activity and development issues”, USAID/BIZTAR Project Manager Douglas Muir stated at the launch of the service.
Project consultant Sergiu Rabii said that in addition to the usual conveniences afforded by an online facility, like not having to waste time and money to go to the respective agencies to submit reports, the new service will help submitters exclude errors.
Maria Borta, the head of the Social Insurance Corporation, said the service will also be helpful to the 1,300 employees of the Corporation, as data will be processed much faster and more accurately.
The USAID/BIZTAR Project has been implemented in Moldova since 2007 and aims to improve business environment, in particular to reduce bureaucracy affecting the private sector by streamlining tax administration, curtailing opportunities for corruption, improving access for citizens and businesses to government information, and strengthening the public-private sector dialogue.
