In seven months of this year, the Mandatory Social Insurance Budget accumulated 14.333 billion lei in revenue, which represents 58.9% of the annual target of 24.339 billion lei, the National Social Insurance Company CNAS reported.

Mandatory social insurance payments represented 7.953 billion lei, or 56.4% of the annual target of 14.097 billion lei. This is a 1.5% increase compared to the similar period last year.

Subsidies from the State Budget represented 6.249 billion lei, in correspondence with the financing request.

The total expenditure of the Social Insurance Budget in the reporting period represented 13.787 billion lei, or 56.6% of the planned annual expenditure of 24.339 billion lei. Compared to the similar period last year, expenses grew by 0.994 billion lei, or 7.8%.

In the reporting period, revenue exceeded expenditure by 0.547 billion lei, which is also the total amount currently on CNAS accounts.
