The National House of Social Insurance on December 13 transferred the amounts planned for paying allowances to families with children. The money can be collected from payment service providers until December 26, IPN reports.

The transfers include 47.8 million lei intended for maternity allowances, 1.5 million lei for paternity allowances, 22.7 million lei for one-time childbirth allowances, 86.8 million lei for monthly childcare allowances paid up to the child’s age of three and 26.6 million lei for the monthly childcare allowances paid up to the child’s age of two.

The authority said all the amounts intended for social benefits, including unemployment benefits, have been transferred.
