Moldovan migrants who work or worked in Moldova or Slovakia will benefit from a new framework of social guarantees. The presidential decree approving the social security agreement signed by the two states was published in the Official Gazette, IPN reports.

Under the agreement, citizens can receive various types of pensions: old-age, disability or survivor's pensions.

According to the National House of Social Insurance, the agreement will contribute to strengthening social security and will intensify cooperation between the competent authorities and institutions of the two countries.
