The social eateries in the municipality of Chisinau will reopen their doors in July. The persons who during the COVID-19 pandemic benefitted from food parcels will receive again warm meals at social eateries, mayor Ion Ceban stated in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services.

The mayor noted that he will visit all the eateries and inspections at these will be carried out without prior notice.

About 1,200 persons in Chisinau currently receive free food parcels from the General Medical and Social Assistance Division. These include pensioners with small incomes and without family support, persons with disabilities and families with many children, IPN reports.
