Social-Democrats propose solutions for new jobs
The Social-Democrat Party of Moldova has launched 10 national projects to create new jobs. According to SDP, it is a plan supported by financial-economic estimations, investing perspectives and export enhancement possibilities
SDP leaders say their initiative is a response to the governing alliance’s lack of reaction to the anti-crisis measures previously proposed by the Social-Democrats. Their project includes elaborating new strategies in industrial, agricultural and financial areas that will result in new jobs for unemployed people.
At a press conference Thursday, June 23, the SDP president Victor Selin declared his party will take on 3 of the 10 projects, even though it is not a governing faction.
According to SDP, the Moldova- E-Commerce project will create about 3,500 jobs. In Chisinau, Balti and Comrat will be created IT-parks. Besides, an online trade server will be launched. The other 2 projects include restoring consumers’ cooperatives, there are negotiations with Italian partners about this, and creating free trade zones that will include areas from Moldova, Romania and Ukraine.
Besides, Victor Selin stated he supported Moldova’s integration in the united economic zone of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan, saying this would benefit Moldova’s economic development.
