The budget-paid employees of the first-seventh salary categories must submit a set of documents to the central and local social assistance divisions for being included in the list of recipients of compensations for paying the higher gas, electric power and heat charges. The set of documents must include: the identity card in original and a copy, the application for compensations and a certificate showing what salary the applicant receives, said Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Such beneficiaries of combinations as pensioners and disadvantaged families should not present additional documents. A number of 260,000 persons will benefit from compensations. The lists will be drawn up on the basis of the information provided by the National Social Assistance House and the social assistance divisions. The compensation is 130 lei a month. It will be paid during five months – January, February, March, November and December 2010. The compensations will be paid from the grants provided by the European Commission and the UK Department for International Development.
