The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC), in its May 12 meeting, recommended the radio and TV stations that are within Moldova’s jurisdiction to promote gratis a number of social campaigns, IPN reports.

The Council supported the approach made by the International Center “La Strada” and recommended the broadcasters to disseminate the video clip that calls on women not to tolerate domestic violate and to call the trust line 0 80088008 if they need psychological assistance or legal aid.

The National Blood Transfusion Center requested the BCC to recommend the radio and TV stations to broadcast three video clips that encourage the population to donate blood.

The third request came from the public association “Altruism” that asked to help promote the mobile application HelpApp, which is designed to contribute to suicide prevention.
