Snowplow involved in road accident
A snowplow that was cleaning the road was involved in a traffic accident near Cimislia town. The driver of a Ford-Tranzit minibus did not see the snowplow that had the flasher on and crashed into its back. The 31-year-old driver got his leg broken and was taken to the hospital, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Traffic Police Division.
Traffic Police Division spokeswoman Dana Andronic said a man aged 71 from Ghidighici village was struck Thursday by a minibus on Calea Iesilor St in Chisinau. The victim suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a concussion and was admitted to the Emergency Hospital.
A Mitsubishi and a Honda collided at the intersection of the Chisinau streets Liviu Deleanu and Balcani. Consequently, the driver of the first car aged 20 sustained a concussion, while the 50-year-old driver of the Honda and a passenger aged 27 received thoracic traumas.
Nine persons were hurt in six accidents on the national roads on Thursday and on Friday night. Another 38 traffic accidents did not cause victims.
