The blizzard of this morning, January 29, formed piles of snow up to 1meter high on the access roads to villages in Orhei and Floresti districts, IPN reports.

In a note, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure said the given villages are: Biesti, Pohrebeni, Andreevca, Berezloci, and Susleni in Orhei and Unchitesti, Nicolaevca, Cerepcau, Prodanesti, Dumetreni, Raduleni, Badeni, Ion Voda, Hartop, and Cernita in Floresti. The snow removal works are hampered by the persisting strong winds.

According to the Ministry, all the road maintenance services work round-the-clock. In case of major difficulties on the road, the people can call the green line of the State Road Administration - 022748961 - in order to seek help.
