Most of the streets in Chisinau, mainly those that connect the suburban settlements and the city, are hardly passable. The head of the General Transport and Communications Division Adrian Boldurescu has told Info-Prim Neo that 26 special vehicles started to spread antiskid material and to remove the snow at 11pm. By two units of transport were spreading sand in each of the five districts of Chisinau close to midday. More snowplows will work at night, said Adrian Boldurescu. In the suburbs, the snow removal works are coordinated by the public amenities divisions, but the units of the General Division intervene when necessary. As many as 162 snowplows have cleaned the snow from the national roads all over the country.
