Weather forecasters announced heavy precipitation of 7-15 l/m2, mainly in the form of snow and sleet, for November 19, the period between 12 noon and midnight. A yellow code advisory was issued for the whole territory of the country, IPN reports.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, there will be hoarfrost, in parts glazed frost and snowdrifts. The temperatures on November 19 will vary between +3 degrees Celsius in northern Moldova and +5 degrees Celsius in the southern districts. The coming night the temperatures will oscillate between 2 and +0 degrees Celsius.
Snow and rain are forecast for the next few days too, but only in parts. Nighttime temperatures will decrease to 5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will not exceed +5 degrees Celsius.
