A Chisinau resident was taken to the hospital with burns of the third and fourth degree that he received in a fire caused by a lit cigarette, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, the fire happened in a house on Hancesti Street at about 18.00 on Sunday. Being under the influence of alcohol, the 60-year-old man fell asleep with the lit cigarette. Fortunately, the man’s tenants returned home at that hour and found him in the smoke-filled room. They called the fire department and an ambulance. A 27-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen in a house on Sadoveanu Street. He was admitted into the reanimatology section of the Emergency Hospital in a hemorrhagic shock. An investigation is underway. Two men went into a fight at the Central Bus Station. One of them stabbed his adversary, who was under the influence, in the heart region. The man was taken to the same section in a hemorrhagic shock. A child aged two years and a half swallowed pills against blood pressure and a pancreas illness left by his grandmother at hand. The boy was taken to the Mother and Child center for detox.
