The government approved the modification of article 28 of the Regulation regarding state representatives in companies. The changes refer to the rewards they collect.

The persons who represent the state in commercial companies benefit from monthly allowances and annual rewards established by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

The annual reward cannot currently exceed 5% of the size of the annual net profit obtained by the respective company. The approved amendments foresee a reduction of the ceiling from 5% to 1% of the annual net profit obtained by the company.

Secretary General of the government, Andrei Spânu, said that this project will eliminate the exaggerated rewards collected by state representatives in commercial companies.
