Over 80 producers and suppliers of medical equipment from Moldova, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Romania and Ukraine will participate in the sixteenth MoldMEDIZIN& MoldDENT exhibition that will take place at Moldexpo during September 7-10, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a news conference, Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu said the number of participants in the exhibit this year is by 15 higher than the previous year and this shows the event's prestige is increasing. “The major aim of the exhibition is to contribute to the establishment of effective cooperation relations between the producers of medications and medical and diagnosis equipment. It will also facilitate the transfer of new technologies to healthcare,” he stated. Nicolae Onilov, the director general of the Medication Agency, said during the exhibit the companies that import and produce drugs will be ale to confer on the new regulations approved during the last six months, including the amendments to the legislation on the registration and formation of the prices of medications. Aurel Grosu, the head of the Chisinau Cardiology Institute, said the program of the four-day exhibition includes the fifteenth congress of the dentists, 11 scientific conferences centering on the quality of the pharmaceutical assistance, supervision of public health, implementation of ISO standards in diagnosis laboratories, introduction of new pharmaceutical preparations made from raw material produced in Moldova and, the anniversary seminar “Clinical Pharmacology. 30 Years of Work.” The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Health, Moldexpo, and professional associations of Moldovan doctors. It will be opened on September 7 at 11am.
