Six Moldovans travelling in a minibus running on the Chisinau-Verona route were taken to the Hancesti District Hospital following a road accident on the Chisinau-Leuseni road, not far from Miresti village, in the evening of December 11. Another two passengers suffered minor injuries and were given first aid on the spot.

Head of the Hancesti Police Inspectorate Anatolie Secu has told IPN that the minibus was heading for the Leuseni customs post and crashed into the trailer of a tractor carrying wood owing to low visibility.

An extrication team of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service intervened to take out two of the injured persons.

The traffic on the Chisinau-Leuseni road was blocked on a distance of several kilometers.
