Six persons compete for two vacancies on Supervisory Board

Six persons have applied for the two vacant posts of member of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova”. The applications are to be examined by the Broadcasting Coordination Council. Contacted by IPN, the Council’s secretary Dorina Curnic said submissions were accepted by April 14 and the Council has 15 days to select four candidates of the six.

Under the regulations, when the period of 15 days expires the Broadcasting Coordination Council will hold a public meeting to examine the applications. The candidates will also be invited to this meeting and will be able to explain why they decided to take part in the contest. Afterward, the Council will choose by open vote four candidates who will be proposed to Parliament.

The six applicants are: Denis Yakimovski, Vitalie Tabunshchik, Arhip Cibotaru, Iurie Ispas, Marina Turcan, and Grigore Ciorici.
