Six applicants for TRM Supervisory Board member chosen

The Broadcasting Coordination Council selected six of the eight persons who applied to fill the vacancies on the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” (TRM). In the October 17 meeting of the Council, the applicants presented the priorities on which they will focus if they are chosen to the post and answered the questions put by members of the Council, IPN reports.

The six aspirants are Alexandru Vasilachi, Marcel Dragan, Veaceslav Vlad, Larisa Calugaru, Stefan Secareanu, and Dumitru Crudu. Alexandru Grosu and Gheorghe Ciobanu were rejected by the Council.

Of the six applicants, Parliament is to confirm three to the post of member of the Supervisory Board for a four-year period.

On October 18, the terms in office of three members of the TRM’s Supervisory Board come to an end. These are Petru Grozavu, Larisa Calugaru and Doina Deleu, who heads the Board.
