The Information and Security Service refutes the claims made in the public space about the alleged implication of the institution in the interception of media representatives, opinion leaders and politicians, IPN reports.
"It is unfortunate that the attempt is being made to attract the Information and Security Service to an area of speculation, by launching unverified, truncated or distorted information into the public space, which generates misinformation, manipulation and intoxication of the public opinion. We strongly condemn these denigration actions and disapprove the attempts to involve the Service in disputes with political substrate which affect the image and the credibility of the institution as guarantor of national security”, says a press release of the institution.
SIS reaffirms its "determination to maintain neutrality and equality in daily work, being focused on the accomplishment of its missions, which concern exclusively national security, with strict observance of the laws."
