The Cabinet authorized the modification of legal acts to bar officers of the Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) from holding the nationality of other states, IPN reports.
According to Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari, the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova provides guarantees related to admission to a profession and fulfillment of one’s duties to all the citizens.
The minister also said that after Parliament adopts this bill, a number of Government decisions will have to be modified or supplemented.
