The second edition of the "Model European Union Moldova" will take place during March 28-30 at the Parliament. The event will bring together 100 young people, who will simulate the decision-making process of the European Union, taking on roles of MEPs, European commissioners, political advisers and journalists, IPN reports.
Participants will debate and negotiate legislative proposals, learn how to form political alliances and how to take decisions at European level. On the eve of the plenary session, they will participate in training workshops on EU institutional mechanisms, negotiation techniques and public discourse.
Those wishing to participate must be between 16 and 25 years old and fill out a form by February 16.
The first edition of MEU Moldova, organized in April last year, brought together over 80 young people, who proposed 48 legislative amendments and adopted a final resolution.
