The Socialist MPs on June 2 submitted a simple motion against Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur following the rejection by Parliament of the Socialists’ proposal to question the minister about the decision to declare five Russian diplomats personas non grata, IPN reports.
MP Vladimir Turcanu said what happens today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot ensure the pursing of a wise, correct and responsible foreign policy. He referred also to the lack of cooperation and the ‘diplomatic scandals’.
After the motion was registered, the Socialists left the assembly hall in protest at the rejection of their proposal to hold parliamentary hearings.
The date when the motion will be examined in Parliament will be fixed by the Standing Bureau.
